More Information for Campers & Parents
Arrival: Each session begins with check-in procedures in Bishops' Hall. Campers should come to check-in, as they will receive needed information and meet some of the adult staff. Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. Please do not arrive early. The first meal served on opening day is dinner. Departure: All sessions except St. Gregory close with breakfast. Pick-up time is from 9am until Noon. There is no noon meal on closing day. The St. Gregory session closes with a celebration of the Eucharist at 10:30 am. The campers are the choir for this service and family or friends are invited. Pick-up campers at St. Gregory is from 11:30 am until 12Noon. There is no noon meal available at the conference center on departure day of St. Gregory. Mail: Campers receive mail after dinner regular postal delivery days. To write your camper, please address the envelope as follows: Camper's Name Camp Session Honey Creek Episcopal Conference Center 299 Episcopal Conference Center Road Waverly, GA 31565 Campers are encouraged to write home during the session but they will need to bring their own stationery and stamps.l Care Packages: Campers may receive small care packages. Healthy snacks are fine. We do not allow campers to have gum. Please do not send junk food. Homemade goodies are fine. Phone: The phone number at the Conference Center is 912-265-9218. Please - no unnecessary calls. Expectations and Safety Rules: Campers will be present at all activities Curfew and quiet times will be respected. Living areasare to bekept clean. There will be no abuse of property or wildlife. Certain areas are off-limits unless qualified safety personnel are present (pool, dock, ropes course). Shoes are to be worn when outside. Visitors must be cleaned by the Camp Coordinator before arrival.
