New to 2010:  CamptivitiesHoney Creek Episcopal Camp & Conference Center

 This year develop skills in the activities you enjoy the most!  

All sessions will continue to have the same special times in the Chapel and to participate in all the activities from past years. 

PLUS...    Sessions 1and 2:  will choose 3 activities from the list below.

Session 3:  The Saint Gregory and Saints Joseph and Mary Camps will occur during the same week this year.

Saint Gregory-Music Camp remains the same.  Saint Mary & Joseph Campers will choose 3 camptivities from below.

Session 4:  Nature Camp:  Choose 1 Camptivity of Nature and 2 from the list below.

Pool*

Games, swimming skills, & Free swim  This is extra pool time in addition to regular pool time for all the campers.

* To sign up, the camper must be able to swim width of the pool.

Rope & Challenge Course
Balancing ion a log, solving a challengewith friends, &sailing through trees, you'll have a blast while gaining courage and building self-confidence.
FishingTry your luck and learn the tricks to be catching trout, perch and flounder and netting a few crabs.
Kayacking*

Start in the pool to learn technicfques & then launch into Honey Creek for a great marsh adventure.  This Camptivity will be flexible to allow for tides. 

*To sign up, camper must be able to swim width of pool.

Nature
Through hands-on exploration into the maritime forest, salt marsh & fresh water pond discover lots of wonderful creatures& plant life that thrive at Honey Creek.
ArtLet your creativity run wild with various means of expressing your inner spirit like using water colors, making banners & designing original jewelry.
Drama
Star in a one-act play & learn great acting techniques along the way!  The play will be performed on Friday night and recorded so you can share it back home.
Jammin'
Bring your instrument, regardless of your skill level and join the band.  You'll learn how to play & sing in an ensemble & help lead camp music times.
Video/Photography*

You get to create the camp video scrapbook for your camp!  Learn techniques for downloading to a computer & editing to create a great video to share at the closing event of the camp.

*Campers may bring their own digital cameras/video cameras (plus cable for computer download) or share the camp's equipment.
